Waiting Staff - Full Time & Part Time

£13.75- £15 including tronc

Wild by Tart is a neighbourhood restaurant set within a multipurpose space. Housed in a former power station and coal store, the 9,000 sq. ft site combines a restaurant, bar, coffee kiosk, retail store, events space, and photography studio. We are blessed with a large, open kitchen with plenty of natural daylight and amazing equipment, including a wood-burning oven and charcoal grill. We work with the best suppliers using seasonal, British produce. In this role, you will give guests an engaging, informative, and friendly service. Waiting Staff: • Hospitality experience is essential • You will run a section, ensuring tables are in order at all times. • Guiding guests through our menus, using product knowledge and understanding of cooking methods, and giving accurate descriptions to help make selections. • Understand the seasonality and origins of ingredients. • Make thoughtful wine and drink recommendations that pair well with food orders. • Understand all food allergies and Allergen & Dietary Requirement Order Processes.

Sous Chef

£35,000 - £45,000 including tronc

This role is open to various chef positions, this is an excellent opportunity to develop your career within an established brand under a forward-thinking head chef and team. If you have the following, then the answer is yes! • Externally recognized food and/or health and safety qualification. • Level-headed and consistent in nature, trustworthy and reliable • Ability to work flexibly under pressure • A passion for great food and people • 1 years’ experience of Sous Chef level within a kitchen. • At least 1 years’ experience within a high-volume branded restaurant operation. • Highly skilled on each of the stations in the kitchen. • Attention to detail in relation to food service (quality, portion size, presentation, and consistency. • You must be proactive in important areas such as health and safety and food hygiene. What will your role as a member of the team look like? • To support the head chef in all kitchen operations. • To maintain company standards of quality, service, presentation, and cleanliness. • Ensure to comply with all legislation regarding food hygiene and health and safety standards. • To ensure that all company policies are adhered to. • To take an active role in coaching and developing junior staff and restaurant communication. • To run shifts and stations efficiently, effectively ensuring all duties and daily prep are completed within the time frames. • To consistently achieve the highest levels of service. • To maintain Wild by Tart’s ethos and style.
