The Women of Food
We are delighted to be a part of Resy’s The Women of Food London, a three-night chef series. Following its 2018 debut in San Francisco, and multi-city US tour in 2019, The Women of Food London marks the series’ international debut and first appearance in London.
The Women of Food will bring to life the theme: Behind Every Great Restaurant is a Woman. Each celebration will feature female collaborators selected by the host chef, ranging from other chefs that they admire to notable creatives and artisans. Book here.

‘We’ve always been inspired by Gioconda and the way that she cooks. It’s in a very natural way, and is how good ingredients should be treated. Over fire, wood and charcoal, with respect and integrity. It feels like a celebration of the produce, be it vegetables, meat or fish. We think she is incredibly cool and cannot wait to fire up the wood burner with her.
We’re going to use ingredients for the dinner which have been foraged from our farms and gardens. Pumpkins, quinces, apples, damson plums and cavalo nero from Somerset, and pomegranates from Gioconda’s Andalusian farm. As well as our deli’s preserves and pickles. We’ll be celebrating Jemima’s Tamworth pork, from her woodlands in Somerset. Free roaming, happy pigs, that feast upon acorns, milled organic barley and wheat, and waste from the vegetable garden.’
